Providing meditation services in the Indigo Shire including Stanley, Beechworth, Rutherglen, and Yackandandah and to the wider community in North East Victoria including Albury-Wodonga, Wangaratta and Myrtleford.

My Philosophy and Approach

The philosophy at Calming the Chaos Meditation Studio is that meditation is easy to learn, can be practised wherever you are and will provide you with a clear, focused and calm mind to attend to the challenges in your life. You can learn a variety of meditation techniques allowing you to choose the perfect meditation for every day of your life.

Regular Workshops and Classes are run at the studio and I can also cater for those wishing to avail themselves of individual tuition.  Additionally, regular group meditation sessions are conducted each week for those living in the Beechworth region. Workshops are also held, by arrangement, in other locations such as Albury, Wodonga, Wangaratta and Myrtleford.

Meditation has helped me navigate my personal and professional life for more than 30 years.  I came to meditation in the 1970s when under a great deal of stress that was affecting my relationships – both personal and professional.

I was advised to meditate to help me deal with a back injury, but I slowly realised that the benefits of regular meditation were far greater than I  imagined.  I was becoming calmer; I found a stillness inside that allowed me to deal with the stresses and challenges in my life and that my life was improving as a result.

Of course, I still get tense, but now I know what to do about it. I am very aware of the need to manage my life well, to ensure I remain calm, clear headed, focused and aware and able to achieve things that can sometimes seem overwhelming and stressful.  I have no doubt that meditation has played an important role in the successful outcomes I have experienced in many areas of my life.
